When a business has a gas issue heading into a holiday weekend, there's no time to wait. Stewart's needed their gas supply line upgraded - and they needed it done fast. A line that's undersized for the demand being put on it isn't just an inconvenience. It can mean equipment that won't perform right, or worse, operations grinding to a halt at the worst possible time.
We upgraded the supply line from 3/4 inch to 1-1/4 inch to give their system the capacity it actually needed. That's not a small jump. Going up in pipe diameter like that significantly increases the volume of gas that can flow through the system at once, which makes a real difference when you're running commercial equipment under load.
The work itself took us up into the ceiling structure of a busy commercial facility - threading new pipe through an overhead run that had to be done carefully and correctly. This is the kind of job where every fitting matters. A gas line isn't something you want to revisit because a connection wasn't done right the first time.
We take commercial gas line work seriously. Whether it's a supply line upgrade, a new run, or troubleshooting a pressure issue, we come prepared and we get it done. Stewart's had a busy weekend ahead of them, and our job was to make sure that wasn't a problem.
