Founded by lifelong friends Andrew O’Mara and J.P. Sala, the company blends hands-on experience with modern solutions and dependable, responsive service. The name Freeman Industries honors the region’s rich history—Freeman Farms, the site of the pivotal Revolutionary War Battle of Saratoga—and reflects the founders’ deep commitment to the community they call home. Family-focused and locally invested, Freeman Industries is built on trust, craftsmanship, and giving back.

Meet JP Sala, co-founder of Freeman Industries and leader of the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Division. A licensed Master Plumber since leaving college in 2014, JP built his career by owning and operating multiple successful plumbing companies on Long Island before relocating his family to the Saratoga area.

With more than a decade of hands-on experience, JP brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a client-first mindset to every project. As a dedicated husband and father of two daughters, family remains at the center of his work ethic and the way he serves his customers.

Meet Andrew O’Mara, co-founder of Freeman Industries and leader of the Excavation and Septic Division. A former police officer, Andrew left law enforcement to build a company rooted in integrity, hard work, and trust.

With experience operating heavy machinery since before the age of 15, Andrew brings unmatched practical knowledge and a passion for outdoor, hands-on work to every project. As a devoted family man and father of three (with another on the way), he approaches every job with the same care and responsibility he brings to his home life.
